Our Story;

The Wag Walker NI was founded in January 2022 by Rebecca McNamee. A 27 year old Store Manager, turned Full Time Dog Walker and Pet Sitter from County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, Omagh.

Growing up Rebecca was renowned for visiting and playing with the neighbours cat Sparky. She could even be found curled up in the dogs bed at her Granny Johnston’s house. But it wasn’t until later in life when Rebecca became a dog owner herself, that she decided to undertake studies in Canine Communication, whilst working and gaining experience alongside local Veterinary Nurse turned Dog Groomer Carmel O’Hagan at High Tails Dog Grooming, that she decided to branch off and become a pet care provider in the form of The Wag Walker NI.

Our Services

  • Solo Dog Walks

    We provide Solo Dog Walks in 30 to 60 minute increments in the Omagh area. This includes pick up and drop off.

  • House Visits

    We provide house visits in 30 minute intervals. This service is ideal for cats and dogs amongst other animals in the Omagh area.

  • Pet Sitting

    We provide pet sitting in the owners home. Our priority with this service is to minimise disruption for our furry friends in the Omagh and surrounding areas.

  • Home Boarding

    We provide home boarding where your pets stay in a loving, family home environment. This is a one to one service, where we take one dog / family at a time.

  • Highly recommend Rebecca, she helped me out a lot this week by taking 3 schnauzers for a hour walk each day. They all loved seeing Rebecca arrive at the house.
