Our Story

The Wag Walker NI is a dedicated pet care service provider, founded in January 2022 by Rebecca McNamee, a passionate animal lover from County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. Here Rebecca is committed to providing a friendly, reliable and fully insured dog walking, pet sitting, boarding and wedding chaperone experience, focusing on the health and happiness of your furry friends.

With a keen understanding of pet behaviour and a love for the outdoors, each walk is tailored to meet the needs of both owner and pet. Whether it’s a brisk walk or a boarding arrangement, The Wag Walker NI is here to support you.

Rebecca has a diverse background in animal care and a passion for working with an array of animals including; dogs, cats, goats, chickens and horses etc. Here she prioritises positive reinforcement and enrichment, ensuring that every animal in her care receives the attention and affection they deserve.

  • Dog Walking

    We provide a Solo Dog Walking experience in 30 to 60 minute intervals. This includes pick up and drop off, taking place in the Omagh area.

    Pet Sitting takes place in the Owner’s home, keeping disruption for our four legged friend(s) to a minimum. This is ideal for reactive pets.

    We provide House Visits in 30 to 60 Minute intervals. This service is ideal for cats and older dogs, amongst other household pets.

    We provide a Home Boarding experience, where your pet(s) stay in a loving, family environment. We take one dog/or family of dogs at a time.
