About Us

The Wag Walker NI is a dedicated dog care service provider, founded in January 2022 by Rebecca McNamee, a passionate animal lover from County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. Here Rebecca is committed to providing a friendly, reliable and fully insured experience through bespoke Solo Dog Walks, Attentive House Visits & Exclusive Home Boarding - all focused on the wellbeing and happiness of your dog.

With a deep understanding of animal behaviour and a love for the outdoors, each service is tailored to meet the needs of both dog and owner. Whether it’s a solo countryside walk, or a comfortable home boarding stay, The Wag Walker NI delivers trusted, professional care you can rely on.

Rebecca brings a rich background in animal care, with hands-on experience working with a variety of animals including dogs, cats, goats, chickens, horses and birds. She’s dedicated to creating a safe, enriching, and loving environment for the animals in her care.

  • Solo Dog Walks

    We provide Solo Dog Walks tailored to your pet’s needs, available in 30 or 60 minute sessions. Each walk includes pick-up and drop-off within the Omagh area, ensuring a safe, stress-free experience from start to finish.

  • Attentive House Visits

    Our house visits are available in 30 or 60 minute sessions, offering attentive, personalised care for cats, senior dogs or other household pets. Ideal for feeding, companionship, toileting and general check-ins.

  • Exclusive Home Boarding

    We provide an exclusive home from home boarding experience in a warm, family setting. To ensure truly individualised care and a peaceful environment, we accommodate only one dog - or one family of dogs at a time.
